Job Posting: GI Hospitalist
Specialty: Gastroenterology Hospitalist
Location: Longview, WA
📅 Coverage Needed Due to Gap in Staffing
We are seeking a Board-Certified GI Hospitalist to provide coverage. The need is ASAP, contingent on credentialing (expedited process available).
Current Coverage Gaps:
- September 2–8
- October 1–13
- November 21–December 1
- December 12–15
- December 22–January 1
Please specify your availability when presenting.
Schedule:
- Variable
- ACU: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM
- 24-hour call: 8AM–8AM (as scheduled)
🏥 Practice Setting
- Environment: Clinic and Hospital Inpatient only
- Inpatient Beds: 129–136
- Average Census (PPD): 12–14 patients
- Support Team: 2 GI providers, hospitalists, and 2 APPs
- EMR: EPIC – must be a proficient user
- Procedures: ERCP not required
🩺 Responsibilities
- Daily rounding
- Admissions
- Coverage of Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU)
🛠️ Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- License: Active Washington State license with clean background
💰 Compensation
- 24-hour Call Rate: $3,000 to $3400/day (includes up to 8 hours gratis)
- Call Back Rate: $575/hour
