Position Highlights

Duties: Mix of clinic + procedures | Avg. 10–14 procedures/day

Procedures Required: Upper & lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy (with biopsy/polyp removal), small bowel biopsy, PEG placement

Support: APCs in clinic, 3 new endo suites, Epic EMR

Schedule & Practice Setting:

Full-time schedule: 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday

Mix of clinic and procedures, with no call required
-
Preference for 1 day clinic / 4 procedure days per week (flexible)
-
Average 10–14 procedures per day with 3 newly built endoscopy suites and highly skilled staff
-
Inpatient census: ~28–30 patients on the medical service, with 3–4 in ICU/IMCU
-
APC support available in clinic
-
EMR: Epic
-
Day 1 orientation with EPIC support

Travel and lodging provided (nearest airport: Central Wisconsin – CWA)
Required Procedures:
-
Upper GI Endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration, varices injection)
-
Small bowel biopsy
-
Lower GI endoscopy (flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy/polyp removal)

PEG tube placement
(ERCP & EUS not required – not performed at this facility)
Requirements:
-
Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Fellowship required)

ACLS and BLS certifications required

Ability to obtain Wisconsin medical license (if not already held)
