A leading healthcare system in Florence, South Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a GI Hospitalist position. Join a high-volume, established team offering inpatient-focused care with a 7-on/7-off schedule and strong support infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
7-on / 7-off schedule
10 hours onsite + 14 hours unrestricted call per shift
Focus on hospital patients and ER consults
Growing GI department with advanced procedural capabilities
Qualifications
Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
Comfortable with inpatient-only schedule and procedures
Fellowship-trained candidates preferred
Working Hours
10 hours onsite daily, 14 hours unrestricted call coverage
High patient volume from hospital and emergency referrals
Skills
Efficient in high-acuity inpatient settings
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency with EPIC EMR is a plus
