Job description
A respected gastroenterology practice is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join their growing team covering Douglasville and Hiram Medical Offices. This is a great opportunity to live and work just 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and Braves Stadium.
Job Responsibilities
Join a supportive team of 5 MD/DOs and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Monday to Friday schedule.
1:3 single hospital call rotation.
Manage 15-18 patients per day.
Procedures and Services:
Colonoscopy
EGD – Upper GI Endoscopy
ERCP
EUS
Enteroscopy
Hemorrhoid Banding
Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
Infusion Therapy
Telehealth Consultations
Nutrition Counseling
TIF® Procedure
Video Capsule Endoscopy

Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain).
Clean malpractice history preferred.
Not accepting visa candidates (J1 or H1B not eligible).
Not accepting Locums candidates.
Candidates previously Board Certified who need to recertify may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
New graduates through 2025 are welcome to apply.
Working Hours
Clinic Hours: 8 am - 5 pm
Endoscopy Block Time: Often scheduled in the mornings
Call Coverage: 1:3 hospital call schedule (likely for nights and weekends, but usually light since it’s single-hospital coverage)
Skills
ERCP and EUS skills are highly valued.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient setting.
Telehealth experience and interest in nutrition counseling are preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
