A well-established private gastroenterology practice is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join their thriving, high-volume team in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, Florida—just 25 minutes north of Naples and 15 minutes from the beach!
This is a volume-ready opportunity offering significant earning potential, clinical autonomy, and a strong administrative support system. The practice is focused on delivering affordable, high-quality digestive care in a patient-centered environment.
Job Responsibilities
Perform a full range of GI procedures including:
Colonoscopy
ERCP
EUS
Upper GI Endoscopy
Enteroscopy
Hemorrhoid Banding
Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
Video Capsule Endoscopy
Axonics® Sacral Nerve Stimulation
Join an established team of five physicians.
Monday through Friday outpatient schedule.
No hospital call responsibilities.
Participate in an associate-to-partner pathway with endoscopy center ownership opportunities.
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
Active Florida medical license or willingness to obtain.
Quick 2024 start is highly preferred.
Open to J-1 and H-1B visa candidates (visa sponsorship support provided).
Clean malpractice history preferred.
New graduate candidates considered through 2025.
Previously Board Certified candidates needing recertification will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday schedule.
Outpatient-based with no hospital call.
Flexible start dates available.
Skills
ERCP and EUS skills are highly valued.
Strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.
Effective communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to manage a high-volume outpatient setting.
