A well-established multispecialty medical group in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a high-volume practice with strong referral patterns and access to advanced procedural capabilities. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team of primary care and specialty providers committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes along the scenic Texas Gulf Coast.
Job Responsibilities
See a mix of outpatient and inpatient patients with call coverage as scheduled
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including colonoscopy and EGD
Access to state-of-the-art ORs and procedural suites
Participate in hospital-based care and collaborate with a large referral base of providers
Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in EMR
Qualifications
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology
Texas Medical License (or eligibility for licensure)
Fellowship in Gastroenterology required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Hours
Call Rotation: Shared among GI providers
Patient Volume: Steady stream of referrals and established patient base
Skills
Commitment to evidence-based medicine and quality outcomes
Ability to collaborate within a multispecialty team environment
EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
