A leading healthcare system in Shreveport, LA is actively seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible General and Advanced Gastroenterologists to launch and lead a new gastroenterology service line. This full-time, hospital-employed opportunity offers the ability to shape the direction of GI care in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities
Perform both standard and advanced endoscopic procedures (ERCP preferred)
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated patient care
Participate in shared call coverage
Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation
Contribute to the growth of a new GI service line within an established health system
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Eligible for or holding an unrestricted medical license in Louisiana
Advanced endoscopic training preferred (ERCP)
Strong commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork
Working Hours
Mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and endoscopic procedures
Shared call responsibilities
Skills
Skilled in advanced techniques including ERCP (preferred)
Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in launching or shaping a new service line is a plus
