Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage patients' health problems and design diagnostic and therapeutic plans.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including colonoscopy, polypectomy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, esophageal ligation or banding of varices, dilation of the esophagus (bouginage), and small bowel biopsy.
Qualifications
Preferably certified or qualified for examination by the American Board of Internal Medicine or other appropriate specialty certifying boards.
