Position Overview
For more than 30 years, this private practice has served Eastern North Carolina and built a reputation as one of the region's premier GI groups. Physicians benefit from immediate patient demand, a partner-focused culture, minimal administrative burden, and a clear path toward practice and endoscopy center ownership.
Position Highlights
· One of the oldest endoscopy centers in the region, serving patients since 1994
· Bread-and-butter General Gastroenterology with no ERCP or EUS
· Attached endoscopy center located directly across from one of the largest hospitals in North Carolina for exceptional efficiency and convenience
· 10-12 procedures per day with the flexibility to increase volume if desired
· Strong APP support with Nurse Practitioners and dedicated nursing and procedure room staff
· Approximately 5 hospital call days per month
· Physician-owner manages practice administration, allowing physicians to focus on patient care
· Unique mentorship and succession opportunity with a physician seeking future partners to continue the legacy of the practice
Compensation & Benefits
· Base salary determined by experience
· Retain 65% of collections after overhead expenses
· $25,000 signing bonus
· Full malpractice coverage including tail insurance
· 4 weeks of PTO
· Partnership opportunity after just two years
· Investment opportunity in the ambulatory endoscopy center
