IU Health Physicians is actively recruiting a Gastroenterologist to join their dynamic group in greater Indianapolis suburb of Fishers, Indiana. This role will include outpatient and infrequent inpatient visits at IU Health University Hospital and IU Health Saxony Hospital. There is also opportunity for a faculty appointment within the internationally recognized Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Digestive and Liver Disorders Division.

Employment Opportunity Details:

  • Full time Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
  • Current outpatient patient volume = 32 patients per week
  • Inpatient volume varies but will be around 8 per week
  • Work at IU Health University Hospital (40%) and at IU Health Saxony Hospital (60%)
  • Call duties include 4-8 weeks per year and 2 weeks of bleeder call
  • 90% outpatient role/10% inpatient role

We serve as the referral center for colonoscopies failed elsewhere. As one of the largest hepatology and transplant programs in the country, we are a recognized leader of excellence.

Requirements:

  • Gastroenterology Fellowship training required
  • Fellowship or experienced candidates only
  • American board certified
  • H1B Waiver considered

Compensation details:

IU Health University Hospital is a 440-bed major teaching hospital and a recognized leader in technology. Part of the IU Health Adult Academic Health Center, IU Health University Hospital is currently ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the No. 1 hospital in the state of Indiana.
