Gastroenterologist Hospitalist position in West Palm Beach, FL!
Client is seeking a candidate who can start ASAP or by October 2023! Very Affluent area, A rated schools, great insurance payor mix, closest major airport to the facility is PBI
Work a 7 on / 7 off schedule. Base salary is $375K plus benefits then 20% of collections. The other GIs are in private practices in the area so hospital would like to have a GI on premises every day. You will be the in house GI consultant on call for the hospital, on the premises. This is an employed position with benefits of health, dental, vision and 3k CME. Independent contractor 1099 option also available without benefits.
There is no call schedule when you are on your week off. 235 beds in hospital. You would need to round on the patients and take call if required during your week on and see the patients. Otherwise, there are no required hours (do not sleep at hospital) and you could be in your own practice on your week off ( if you are trying to maintain an existing practice). Procedures scheduled, then do consults as needed. NP rounds and does consults as well.

EMR System utilized is Cerner
Credentialing timeline is 60 days once all documents are presented
How busy is the average call on weeknights and weekends? Not very busy
