We are seeking a full-time Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join a hospital-employed gastroenterology practice in McAllen, Texas. This role offers a competitive salary plus performance-based incentives, allowing you to focus on delivering comprehensive GI care in a busy, high-demand setting while sharing call responsibilities with employed and community gastroenterologists in a supportive multispecialty group.

• Call: Shared call with employed and community gastroenterologists
• Patient Volume: Busy gastroenterology practice
• Location: McAllen/Edinburg, Texas (Rio Grande Valley)
• Practice Setting: Multispecialty clinic within South Texas Health System (STHS)
• Support / Care Team: Collaborative multidisciplinary team including GI specialists
• EMR / Technology: Cerner

Responsibilities
• Provide a full range of gastroenterology care and procedures
• Collaborate with employed physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
• Manage day-to-day outpatient and procedural responsibilities
• Document care accurately using EMR systems

Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active or eligible Texas Medical License
• EUS/ERCP experience preferred
• Spanish language skills a plus but not required
