Position Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care. The role involves managing an established patient population, delivering preventive care, and coordinating treatment with other healthcare professionals.Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan.
- Conduct patient examinations, evaluations, and medical assessments.
- Diagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care.
- Coordinate specialist referrals and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in clinical care coordination and on-call coverage.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow established clinical standards.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Active Massachusetts medical license.
- Current ACLS or CPR/AED certification.
- Current DEA registration and applicable Massachusetts Controlled Substance licensure.
- Eligibility for unrestricted clinical privileges.
