Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings
Provide ongoing management of hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic conditions
Conduct wellness visits and age-appropriate health assessments
Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic studies
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans within scope of practice
Provide patient education regarding preventive care and healthy lifestyle management
Coordinate referrals to specialty care when appropriate
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals within the regional network
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Promote accessible, high-quality primary care for the surrounding rural community

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current or eligible Utah Physician Assistant licensure
Appropriate national certification
Strong clinical skills in outpatient primary care
Ability to manage common acute and chronic medical conditions
Comfortable practicing with a high degree of autonomy within applicable supervision and collaboration requirements
Interest in rural healthcare and community-based medicine
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
