Full time
Overview
* An 867 bed academic medical center in central Connecticut, with a well established Hospital Medicine service and 1,300+ physicians, is seeking recent graduates and experienced nocturnists for its growing, thriving nocturnist program
* Openings for Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians
* Shift hours of 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 12 shifts per month, including 2 weekends per month (Friday and Saturday nights), with the other 8 shifts selected based on availability and division needs
* Emphasis on high value, team based care with a reasonable patient census
* Multiple opportunities for professional development in academics, research and leadership, with access to a provider leadership development institute and an office of provider wellness
Qualifications
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary: about $210,000 to $412,000 (posted as $100.96 to $198.03 per hour, paid on a salary basis), with incentives for quality and productivity
* Hire bonuses, loan repayment, administrative stipends and relocation may be available
