Full Time | Internal Medicine / Primary Care
Position Highlights:
Join an established Primary Care practice, the largest in the county
100% outpatient, adult-only Primary Care opportunity
Join a team of 6 providers, including 2 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
Average patient volume of 15-25 patients per day
Monday-Thursday schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
Shared after-hours call rotation among 10 providers across 3 Primary Care offices
Call responsibilities limited to high-priority patient calls escalated through an after-hours service
On-site laboratory services
Manage a diverse patient population, including medically complex adults
Access to comprehensive care management resources and virtual healthcare technology
Physician-led, collaborative practice environment
Fully integrated Epic EMR
DAX Copilot AI documentation technology to streamline clinical workflows
Strong emphasis on patient-centered care and work-life balance
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
Active or eligible North Carolina medical license
Experience or interest in managing medically complex adult patients
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
