Locum - Family Medicine - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

Join a dedicated healthcare facility in Caro, Michigan, seeking a Family Medicine Physician for outpatient clinic coverage. This position involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with participation in after-hours call based on rotation. The role is critical to addressing a current recruitment gap in the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver outpatient care to a diverse patient population (90% Adult/Geriatric, 10% Pediatric).
• Manage an average of 15-20 patients per day.
• Participate in after-hours call on a rotating basis.
• Provide adult and pediatric general outpatient care.
• Work collaboratively with support staff, including Medical Assistants and a Receptionist.
• Utilize in-building diagnostic imaging and point-of-care testing services.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine (Required).
• Able to consider Internal Medicine specialists.
• BLS and ACLS certification (Required).
• Active Michigan medical license (Required). Candidates applying for licensure may also be considered.
• Preference for candidates who are local.
• Availability should be noted at the time of name clear.
• Copy of NPDB self-query required within 30 days for presentation (Required).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Michigan medical license.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
