Optometrist – Rutland, VT | $50K Sign-On Bonus

An established, multidisciplinary healthcare organization in central Vermont is seeking an Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect ocular diseases and abnormalities
• Diagnose and treat common vision conditions, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses and educate patients on proper use and maintenance
• Manage and monitor chronic eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery or other treatments
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and strategies to maintain optimal vision
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and primary care providers to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and stay current with advances in optometric care

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual salary range of $220K–$350K, commensurate with experience
• $50K sign-on bonus
