Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care to patients aged 2 and older. The role focuses on preventive care, acute and chronic disease management, and personalized treatment in a collaborative clinical environment.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations.
- Diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide preventive care, health counseling, and chronic disease management.
- Perform minor procedures and coordinate specialist referrals.
- Review diagnostic results and ensure timely follow-up.
- Supervise medical assistants and LPNs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school and Nurse Practitioner program.
- Minimum 3 years of APRN experience; primary care or family medicine preferred.
- Current, valid state APRN license and NP specialty certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- NRCME certification required.
- Ability to meet applicable state licensure and professional practice requirements.
