We are seeking a qualified Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient care to patients of all ages in Ketchikan, Alaska. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule.
Location: Ketchikan, Alaska
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Start Date: ASAP, ideally November 23, 2026; official start date January 2027
Position Details
- Practice Setting: Outpatient
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Patient Population: All ages
- Patient Volume: 16–18 patients per day
- EMR: EPIC
Qualifications & Requirements
- Family Medicine specialty preferred; Internal Medicine physicians may also be considered.
- Case logs must demonstrate experience serving as the admitting physician for at least 20 patients within the past two years.
- Ability to provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients across all age groups.
- Experience using EPIC electronic medical records preferred.
Preferred Procedures
Experience performing the following procedures is preferred:
- Skin excisions and punch biopsies
- Nexplanon insertion and removal
- Intrauterine device (IUD) insertion and removal
- Cryotherapy
- Toenail evulsions
