Job description
A health system in the Baraboo, WI area is seeking a board certified family medicine physician for outpatient primary care coverage at a busy clinic. Pay is $143.91 per hour, and travel is covered. Coverage runs November 16 to 28, December 17 to 23, and December 28 to January 1, with ongoing coverage starting in January 2027, possibly sooner. The schedule is weekday days only, with no after-hours call and no hospital rounding.
Job Responsibilities
- Care for all ages, with a heavy geriatric mix and complex chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease
- Take a turn as Doctor of the Day, answering nurse-triaged patient calls during business hours
- Work 1:1 with a clinical MA, LPN or RN; the residency clinic handles most procedures
- Chart in Epic
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin license, or IMLC eligibility (Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota are Compact states)
- BLS required, ACLS preferred
- Epic charting experience
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions only)
