Family Medicine Physician
Position Highlights
* Join a thriving, established Family Medicine practice in Whispering Pines, North Carolina.
* Full-time, outpatient-focused opportunity within a provider-led, multispecialty medical group.
* 4.5-day work week with protected administrative time.
* Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
* Low-volume call responsibilities consisting of phone call only.

Clinical Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients across the lifespan.
* Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
* Perform routine physical examinations, wellness visits, health screenings, and preventive services.
* Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment and long-term disease management plans.
* Order and interpret laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and other appropriate studies.
* Prescribe medications and provide appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
* Counsel patients regarding nutrition, exercise, disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and overall wellness.
* Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in low-volume telephone call coverage.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic.
* Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
* Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited Family Medicine residency.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
* Current or eligible unrestricted North Carolina medical license.
* North Carolina DEA registration or ability to obtain.
* Current AHA BLS certification.
* Strong commitment to comprehensive, evidence-based, patient-centered primary care.
* Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
