Primary Care Opening in WA
Located in Coupeville, WA; Seattle 55m
BE/BC
Full-time; Permanent position
4 days per week
A minimum of three years as a physician, practicing in a primary care specialty
Minimum of one to three years’ experience in supervision of mid-level practitioners and/or rural health clinic setting preferred
Responsibilities include direct patient care, oversight/supervision of mid-level practitioners, liaison activities with local medical staff members and participation in policy development and long-term planning for clinic operations
Overview
Provides direct services to patients on ongoing basis at clinic sites, via current caseload as well as consultation with mid-level staff
Provides for the clinical supervision of mid-level staff, and remains available as a resource for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care services
Periodically reviews medical records as part of patient care evaluation process
Provides leadership and direction to mid-level practitioner staff in accordance with practice act guidelines, as well as department & system goals and objectives
Works closely with the Clinic Manager
Must possess working knowledge of factors impacting clinic practice and rural health clinic status, including standards of care, reimbursement issues, industry trends, and networking
Salary range: $250,000 - $275,000 & Eligible for a one-time incentive of up to $20,000
