GlobalPoint Healthcare is seeking one (1) full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care Physician specializing in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for an onsite opportunity at the Lyle C. Pearson VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), located at 1400 Madison Avenue, Suite 502, Mankato, MN 56001.
This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to our Nation’s Veterans in a federal outpatient healthcare setting.
Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Location: Mankato, MN
Work Setting: 100% Onsite
Job Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, physical examinations, and follow-up visits.
* Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
* Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans.
* Provide preventive care, routine health screenings, and wellness education.
* Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
* Prescribe and manage medications as clinically appropriate.
* Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
* Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
* Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to Veterans.
Specific duties will be confirmed in the complete Statement of Work.
Qualifications
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
* Active, current, full, and unrestricted Minnesota medical license or registration.
* License or registration must authorize the physician to practice outside the VA without requiring any change in license status.
* Ability to meet applicable federal credentialing and privileging requirements.
* Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to quality patient care.
Working Hours
The selected physician will work onsite at the Lyle C. Pearson VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Mankato, Minnesota.
Specific daily shift hours, weekly schedule, and any on-call requirements will be confirmed upon receipt of the complete contract details.
Most common working hours are M-F 8am-4:30pm
