Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
Conduct patient evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Manage same-day appointments and acute outpatient presentations.
Coordinate specialty referrals and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the electronic health record.
Partner with dental, behavioral health, nursing, and care coordination teams.
Participate in quality improvement, population health, and community outreach initiatives.
Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic condition management.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency.
Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
Family Medicine Obstetrics board certification, as specified by the employer.
Active or eligible for an unrestricted Ohio medical license and DEA registration.
Strong clinical skills in comprehensive Family Medicine across the lifespan.
Ability to manage acute and same-day outpatient visits.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
Proficiency with electronic health records and evidence-based clinical practice.
Commitment to patient-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care.
Interest in community health and caring for underserved populations.
