Primary Care Physician - FM/IM, BC - Sarasota, FL
Job at a glance
Job description
A well-established, multi-site primary care group with more than 60 locations throughout Florida is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join its outpatient practices.
Physicians typically see approximately 20–22 patients per day and will inherit an established patient panel, with approximately 80% of the patient population consisting of geriatric patients. The practice is seeking physicians who are comfortable working within a managed care environment and ideally have experience with Medicare Advantage, HEDIS coding, quality metrics, and value-based care.
Compensation begins at $250,000+ annually and is negotiable based on experience, with additional earning potential through quarterly performance bonuses. The comprehensive benefits package includes up to 160 hours of paid time off annually, increasing to more than 200 hours with tenure, five days of CME time each year, eight paid holidays, and a 401(k) retirement plan with up to a 4% employer match and immediate vesting once eligible.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician seeking a predictable outpatient schedule, competitive compensation, an established patient base, and long-term stability with a growing Florida-based primary care organization.
Candidates must be Board-Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and hold an active Florida medical license. At least one year of post-training clinical experience is preferred. Candidates should also maintain current BLS and ACLS certification, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working with EMR/EHR systems. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required.
This is a 100% outpatient opportunity offering a stable Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or late hours. Optional call coverage is available for physicians interested in earning additional compensation.
