Position Overview
A premier outpatient medical practice in Boca Raton, Florida is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a personable, relationship-driven physician interested in primary care, preventive medicine, metabolic health and medical weight management.
The practice provides a highly supported clinical environment with physician assistants, nursing, administrative and documentation support, allowing the physician to focus on patient care and long-term relationships.
Prior aesthetics, Botox, stem-cell or exosome experience is not required. The practice is primarily seeking a strong FM/IM physician and can provide training on the wellness-focused components of the practice.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Provide preventive and wellness-focused care.
Evaluate appropriate patients for medical weight-management programs.
Prescribe, monitor and adjust weight-management therapies when clinically appropriate.
Manage conditions including obesity, diabetes, hypertension and metabolic syndrome.
Provide patient education regarding lifestyle, nutrition and metabolic health.
Establish and maintain strong long-term patient relationships.
Coordinate care with physician assistants, nursing and other clinical support staff.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and regulatory compliance.
Participate in practice-development and quality-improvement initiatives as appropriate.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
Strong outpatient primary care experience
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work full-time onsite in Boca Raton
Ability to manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Strong interest in developing long-term patient relationships
Preferred:
Experience with medical weight management
Experience prescribing or monitoring GLP-1 therapies
Experience with metabolic health
Concierge medicine experience
Preventive or wellness medicine experience
Functional or integrative medicine experience
Leadership/supervisory experience
Interest in longevity medicine
Working Hours
Weekday schedule with specific clinical hours to be discussed during the interview process.
