A well-established employee health and primary care clinic in the Greater Lexington, Kentucky area is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for an ongoing outpatient contract opportunity. Practice Setting

Providers will work in an employee health clinic serving employees and their dependents of a large manufacturing facility. Patients have access to comprehensive primary care services focused on prevention, wellness, and continuity of care.

Unlike traditional production-based models, this practice emphasizes quality patient care, allowing providers additional time with patients and the ability to build long-term relationships.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients
• Conduct annual physicals and wellness examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform preventive screenings and health assessments
• Provide women's health services, including Pap smears
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory results
• Administer vaccinations and preventive care treatments
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
• Coordinate care with community specialists and healthcare providers
• Document encounters within EPIC

Schedule

22 hours per week

• Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Additional Details:

• 30-minute lunch break
• No nights
• No weekends
• No holidays
• No call responsibilities
• Start date: Late October 2026
• Assignment expected through January 2027, with potential for extension

Patient Volume & Support

• Average 7-12 patients per day
• Typical scheduling every 30-45 minutes
• Adult patients ages 18+
• Collaborative clinic environment
• RN and/or MA support available
• Focus on quality care rather than volume metrics

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO
• Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician
• Active Kentucky Medical License
• Active DEA Registration
• BLS Certification
• Minimum two years of outpatient primary care physician experience
• Experience managing preventive, acute, and chronic care needs
• Comfortable providing women's health services

Preferred

• Prior EPIC EMR experience
• Occupational or employee health experience
• Long-term availability through the duration of the assignment
