Primary Care Physician – San Antonio & New Braunfels, TX
Position Type: Full-Time
Specialty: Primary Care (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)
Locations: Multiple clinics across San Antonio suburbs – northeast, south, and southwest sides, plus New Braunfels (key site)
Start Date: Immediate openings available; Open to provider by June 2027
About the Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO) to join our growing outpatient network across the San Antonio metropolitan area. This is an exceptional opportunity for Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians who value sustainable patient volumes, predictable schedules, and strong team support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, preventive care, and health maintenance
- Manage a capped patient panel of approximately 12 patients per day
- Collaborate with full clinical support teams at each location
- Review and approve AI-generated clinical notes; minimal after-hours documentation required
- Deliver patient-centered care in a supportive, team-based environment
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in outpatient primary care settings preferred
- Veterans or providers with VA healthcare experience are especially encouraged to apply
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- Monday through Friday; no weekends
- No call responsibilities
- Minimal after-hours charting thanks to AI-assisted documentation
