Position Overview

We are seeking a Family Medicine or Primary Care Physician for an established outpatient practice in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This is a full-time Monday-Friday role with a predictable daytime schedule, seeing approximately 10-15 patients per day and providing comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care.

· Conduct annual physicals, wellness exams, and routine health assessments.

· Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions.

· Manage conditions such as respiratory and urinary infections, skin conditions, and other common outpatient illnesses.

· Perform minor office procedures, including wound care and suturing, as appropriate.

· Order and review labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.

· Review specialist reports and coordinate follow-up care.

· Provide referrals and continuity of care when appropriate.

· Perform DOT and occupational physicals as needed.

· Provide patient education and preventive health counseling.

Qualifications

· MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty.

· Active or eligible for an Idaho medical license.

· DOT certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is acceptable.
