Locum Tenens Primary Care Physician
Location: Cookeville, Tennessee
Client: Valor Healthcare
Setting: VA community-based outpatient clinic
Assignment: 9–12 months
Requested start date: January 1, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Pay: $120–$130 per hour
Travel and lodging: Covered
We are seeking a family medicine or internal medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment serving military veterans in Cookeville, Tennessee. This is a 100% outpatient primary care position.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care to veterans.
- Evaluate patients, develop care plans, and document visits in the clinic’s medical record system.
- Coordinate care with the clinic team as appropriate.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active Tennessee medical license.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Experience providing outpatient primary care.
