Locum Physician Family Practice
Position Type: Locum

Location: Tahlequah, OK
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM; 8- or 10-hour shifts; either 5×8-hour days or 4×10-hour days; 40 hours per week
Position Details: Primary care clinic position requiring independent practice and flexibility. 16-18 patients scheduled per 8-hour day or 20-22 patients scheduled per 10-hour day, with patient volume ramping up after orientation.
Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients; routine and drop-in/acute care
Setting: Primary Care Clinic
Responsibilities: Provide primary care for patients of all ages; manage routine and acute care needs; complete medical records; participate in training and staff meetings; work independently and flexibly.
EMR System: Cerner experience preferred, but not required
Support Staff: Dedicated LPN for rooming, Clinical Assistant, RN for referral management, and Nursing Case Managers for chronic care needs
Days Per Month: Monday - Friday
On-Call/Weekends: No call; no weekends; no float; no overtime
Submission Requirements:
- DO or MD with Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or possible Emergency Medicine training/experience; must have an active Oklahoma license with no exception
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine board certification/eligibility or completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited training program
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
