An established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Sicily Island, Louisiana, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join its outpatient primary care team.

Position Highlights
- $280,000 base salary
- Outpatient Family Medicine
- 20–25 patients per day
- FQHC/community health setting
- Two other physicians currently practicing at the facility
- Incoming physician will have a supervisory role
- Opportunity for the position to develop into a Medical Director role

Clinical Responsibilities
The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services, including:
- Preventive and wellness care
- Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Management of hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and other common primary care conditions
- Routine physical examinations
- Health screenings and preventative services
- Patient education and care coordination
- Chronic disease management
- Developing long-term relationships with patients and families
- Clinical supervision and support of the medical team
Leadership Opportunity
The incoming physician will take on a supervisory role within the practice, working alongside two established physicians.
For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for the position to evolve into a Medical Director role, providing an excellent pathway for a physician interested in taking on additional clinical leadership and administrative responsibility.

Ideal Candidate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Louisiana medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Comfortable practicing outpatient primary care
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Interested in serving a rural and underserved patient population
- Physicians with prior leadership or supervisory experience are encouraged to apply
- Visa candidates may be considered for the right physician
