Job description
Our client is seeking a compassionate Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan. The physician will manage acute and chronic conditions, provide preventive care, perform appropriate in-office procedures, and develop individualized treatment plans.
The physician will also collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary clinical staff, provide clinical guidance as appropriate, and participate in quality improvement and community health initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary care
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Perform physical examinations and health assessments
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
Prescribe medications and monitor treatment response
Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education
Perform minor procedures as clinically indicated
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff
Maintain accurate EHR documentation and regulatory compliance
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Active DEA registration
Current BLS certification
2+ years of Family Medicine experience preferred
Primary care, family medicine, or community health experience preferred
Work Environment: Clinical/onsite primary care setting.
