Job description
A healthcare facility in California is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for full-time locum tenens coverage in an outpatient clinic setting. This is a cradle-to-grave primary care opportunity with a balanced mix of preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management. The role offers a consistent weekday schedule with potential Saturday clinic coverage and includes Epic EMR support
Job Responsibilities
• Perform wellness visits, preventive care, and acute care assessments
• Manage common chronic conditions and routine follow-up care
• Perform minor in-office procedures such as suturing as needed
• Document patient care in Epic EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Family Medicine (BC only)
• Active California medical license (must be active at time of submission/credentialing)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Active DEA and CSR
Working Hours
• 8:00am–5:00pm shifts (5 x 8-hour shifts)
• Potential Saturday clinic coverage (clinic open 9:00am–2:00pm)
