Job description
- Provide comprehensive Family Medicine care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Deliver care in outpatient, urgent care, inpatient, and emergency department settings.
- Support a patient-centered, team-based model of primary care focused on improving Tribal community health outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, culturally competent care.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and preventive care services.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and immunizations as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using EHR systems.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and medical staff activities.
• Serve on committees and support organizational initiatives as assigned.
• Provide supervision to Physician Assistants and mentor medical students/residents when required.
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Board Eligible in Family Medicine (required).
• Board Certified in Family Medicine (preferred).
• BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
• Prenatal care experience.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Interest in rural health, residency training, and Tribal healthcare.
Working Hours
Schedule: Mon - Fri.
