Job description
We are seeking a compassionate Staff Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive primary care services in a rural outpatient clinic in Brady, TX.
The physician will care for patients of all ages while working within an integrated, multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships within the community and help expand access to quality healthcare in rural Texas.

Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose, treat & manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans & prescribe medications
• Coordinate specialty referrals when needed
• Review laboratory, imaging & other diagnostic results in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate & complete electronic health records
• Follow established EHR protocols & quality standards
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants & behavioral health providers
• Mentor clinical staff & students
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) principles
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to clinical policy & protocol reviews
• Participate in community wellness programs & outreach activities
Qualifications
• Active, unrestricted Texas Physician License
• Current DEA & DPS registrations
• Active BLS or CPR certification for Healthcare Professionals
• Current with applicable specialty board & state CME requirements
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges at designated area hospitals when required
Working Hours
• Outpatient clinic setting
• Patient care during scheduled clinic sessions
• Occasional extended hour clinic sessions

Skills
• Familiarity with PCMH principles
• Experience with EHR documentation systems
• Primary care or rural healthcare experience preferred
