Position Summary
The organization is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to join a well-established, collegial medical team in Southbury, CT.
Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply. New graduates and recent residents are welcome!
Essential Position Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients across a broad range of medical needs.

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.

Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing.

Prescribe medications and treatments based on evidence-based clinical guidelines.

Provide preventive care, health screenings, wellness counseling, and patient education.

Establish strong, long-term relationships with patients through continuity of care.

Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.

Participate in quality improvement, population health, and other organizational initiatives.
Qualifications

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Specialty: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.

Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and recent residents are welcome to apply.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $280,000 – $325,000
