• Seeking an experienced Associate Medical Director to provide clinical and administrative leadership within a mission-driven, patient-centered healthcare organization
• Partner closely with the Medical Director and Senior Leadership Team to oversee clinical operations, quality initiatives, provider management, and patient care
• Position is approximately 60–80% clinical and 20–40% administrative, based on organizational needs

Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Medical Director to oversee daily clinical operations
• Lead quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives
• Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and best practices
• Mentor, support, and assist with recruitment of medical providers
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care
• Ensure timely and accurate EMR documentation
• Address clinical concerns, emergencies, and patient or staff issues as needed
• Participate in strategic planning and provider performance management
• Support organizational growth and operational initiatives
• Assist with disaster preparedness and continuity planning
• Monitor key performance indicators related to quality, patient satisfaction, efficiency, and financial performance
• Represent the organization at meetings, community events, and professional conferences
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited U.S. residency in a primary care specialty
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a recognized primary care specialty
• Active or eligible for an unrestricted Hawaii medical license
• Current DEA registration and Hawaii State Narcotics registration, or ability to obtain
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 5 years of primary care clinical experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Previous FQHC experience strongly preferred
Working Hours
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Approximately 60–80% clinical and 20–40% administrative responsibilities
