Southern Oregon

A well-established healthcare organization in Southern Oregon is seeking a Senior Medical Director to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to remain clinically active while stepping into a meaningful senior leadership role.

The position offers a highly attractive 50% leadership / 50% provider structure, a four-day workweek, protected administrative time, and flexibility to complete portions of administrative work remotely.

  • Competitive Base Salary
  • $7,000 sign-on bonus
  • $5,000 relocation assistance
  • Potential GainShare incentive
  • Monday–Thursday schedule

Clinical Practice

The Senior Medical Director will maintain an active primary care practice while serving in a key physician leadership capacity.

The provider portion of the schedule is structured approximately 60% clinical / 40% administrative, allowing dedicated time for responsibilities outside of direct patient care.

  • Patient care hours generally 8:00 AM–4:40 PM
  • Approximately 18 patient templates per full clinical day
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary practice environment
  • Opportunity to maintain meaningful patient care without giving up protected leadership time

Leadership Responsibilities

The Senior Medical Director will work closely with clinical and executive leadership to support:

  • Clinical quality and performance
  • Physician and provider support
  • Clinical standards and best practices
  • Provider coaching and development
  • Quality improvement initiatives
  • Provider engagement and retention
  • Clinical policies and protocols

Ideal Candidate

This opportunity is well suited for a physician who enjoys both patient care and leadership and is looking for a role where administrative responsibilities are genuinely protected rather than added on top of a full clinical schedule.
