Job description
seeking a compassionate Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive primary care services in its rural outpatient clinic located in Brady, Texas. The physician will work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, manage acute and chronic conditions, promote preventive healthcare, and support community wellness initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships while improving healthcare access in a rural setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Review laboratory, diagnostic, and imaging results promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialty care providers when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Lead and collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health professionals, and other healthcare team members.
• Mentor clinical staff, students, and other healthcare personnel as appropriate.
• Support Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives and quality improvement programs.
• Participate in clinical policy reviews, community outreach events, and health education activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, state regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted Texas Physician License.
• Current DEA registration and Texas DPS registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR for Healthcare Professionals certification.
• Compliance with specialty board certification and Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges at designated healthcare facilities as required.
• Minimum one year of physician clinical practice experience preferred.
• Familiarity with the Texas Medical Practice Act, PCMH principles, and EHR systems preferred.
Working Hours
• Regular clinic hours with occasional extended-hour clinic sessions as required.
• Schedule may vary based on patient care and operational needs.
