A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Southern California is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for a 6-month locum tenens assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about serving an underserved, predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population while enjoying a predictable outpatient schedule.
Position Highlights
- Specialty: Family Medicine
- Location: Southern California
- Facility: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
- Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
- Assignment Length: 6 months
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
- Patient Volume: Approximately 20–25 patients per day
- Patient Population: All ages
- Case Mix: Bread-and-butter primary care
- Call: None
- Weekends: None
Requirements
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- MD or DO
- Active California medical license
- Medi-Cal enrolled
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred due to a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population
