Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician to provide primary care services with a focus on pediatric and newborn support. The physician will provide care across both clinic and hospital settings, including newborn assessments immediately after delivery.
Important: This role does not involve obstetric medical or surgical care for the mother. Pediatric/newborn care is limited to the newborn.
Job Responsibilities
Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
Provide pediatric support and assess newborns immediately after birth when on call.
Provide inpatient rounding and admissions.
See approximately 20 patients/day in clinic.
Perform circumcisions.
May work independently/solo.
Collaborate with the healthcare team across clinic and hospital settings.
Qualifications
Board Certified
Active Oregon medical license required; client is not willing to license.
Minimum 2 years of experience
BLS required
NRP required
Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience
Documentation of Family Medicine clinical activity within the previous 24 months.
COVID-19 vaccination required per facility guidelines; no exemptions.
Working Hours
Weeknight and weekend call required
Likely 1 week of call per month
Shared pediatric and post-delivery call coverage
24-hour weekend call: 4 hours gratis/non-billable
8-hour orientation is non-billable
No block schedule
