Job description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for a healthcare organization in North Boston, NY. The Medical Director will be responsible for supporting high-quality patient care, provider performance, clinical operations, and quality improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with physicians, NPs, PAs, nurses, and administrative teams.
Establish and maintain clinical standards, protocols, and best practices.
Oversee quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Support provider development, education, and performance.
Participate in credentialing, peer review, and clinical quality activities.
Monitor clinical outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
Serve as a clinical resource for providers and staff.
Provide direct patient care as required.
Qualifications
Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
Active and unrestricted New York medical license.
Current DEA registration.
Strong clinical background with proven leadership experience.
Previous Medical Director or clinical leadership experience preferred.
Excellent communication and team-management skills.
