SEARHC is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine physician with Obstetrics experience to provide inpatient and outpatient Primary Care in Sitka, Alaska. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient healthcare services for patients of all ages.

- Guaranteed starting salary: $263,764-$293,071

Position Details:
- Monday-Friday schedule with 4 hours of dedicated administrative time
- Telemedicine visits available
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care across the full spectrum of family medicine, including pediatric care, obstetrical care, and deliveries
- Call schedule: one 7-day stretch per month, with a shared non-surgical obstetrics call rotation, 24/7 surgical obstetrics backup, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage
- Procedures available include women's health services, prenatal care, vasectomies, colposcopies, circumcisions, wound care, abscess drainage, and cyst removal
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Must have or be able to obtain an Alaska medical license
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine
- OB and inpatient pediatrics experience required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- BLS, ACLS, ALSO, and NRP certifications
Preferred:
- PALS and STABLE certifications

Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center is a 25-bed, critical access hospital with a broad range of medical and surgical specialties as well as emergency services, from Primary Care, behavioral health and dental to obstetrics, optometry, transitional care services and more. With a Level IV trauma center, an on-site lab and imaging center and an on-site pharmacy, Mt. Edgecumbe offers a comprehensive spectrum of healthcare services to anyone living, working or visiting southeast Alaska.
