Position Details:
- Specialty: Family Medicine
- Start Date: January 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, full-time
- Shift Hours: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Commitment: 9–12 months
- No call or weekends
- Setting: Multispecialty clinic
- EMR: Cerner CareB
- Support Staff: Medical Assistants
- Patients: Approximately 14–16 per day
- Patient Population: Adults required; pediatric experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- All aspects of primary care
- Management of an established patient panel
- Chronic care management
- Common conditions including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and other primary care needs
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine — Internal Medicine candidates will not be considered
- Active California medical license
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
- DEA Schedule II required for credentialing
- Full-time availability is required
- Must be able to commit to at least 2 weeks of coverage per month
- Candidates must be able to commit to approximately 9 months to 1 year
- PALES preferred
Credentialing:
- Standard credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
- Copies of ACLS, BLS, and DEA certificates will be required during the credentialing process
