Job description
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a permanent position in Cuba, Missouri. This is a clinic-based outpatient opportunity with hospital affiliation. Please see below for more information.
- Open to residents and physicians completing training
- J-1 eligible location
- Student loan forgiveness available through NHSC and state programs
- Autonomy to build the practice around specialty procedures and treatments for physicians interested in expanding scope
- Opportunity to participate in organizational strategic planning
Job Responsibilities
Opportunity to perform newborn rounding at the affiliated hospital for physicians interested in this scope
Manage after-hours patient calls routed through the access center
Qualifications
Working Hours
Possible 4-day work week
After-hours weekday call: 1:5 rotation
Weekend call: 1:5 rotation; physicians are rarely called in on weekends
Access center fields after-hours calls; separate after-hours pediatric call support available
