Job description
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician for a locum tenens position in Rutland, Vermont. This is an in-home health evaluation opportunity serving Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and select commercial plan members. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Complete a medication and medical history review at each visit
Perform a physical evaluation in the health plan member's home
Document findings on a pre-populated, member-specific evaluation form provided for each visit
Average of 6-9 visits per day
Travel to member residences across Rutland and Windsor counties
Assessment-only scope: this role does not include prescribing medication, ordering laboratory tests, or altering a member's current treatment regimen
Qualifications
Active Vermont medical license required, must be in hand
DEA not required; no prescribing or diagnosing associated with this role
New graduates considered
Working Hours
Day shifts, 8 hours, within a 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. window
No nights or weekends required
No call required
