We are seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare practice in Bronx, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a long-term position providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform physical examinations and routine health assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment and care plans
• Manage conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular disease
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies
• Provide preventive care, screenings, and health counseling
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with specialists
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nurses, APPs, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine training preferred
• Active or eligible New York State medical license
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
Working Hours
• Primarily weekday/daytime hours
• Outpatient primary care setting
