Family Practice Physician – Gilroy, California

Aya Locums is seeking a Family Practice physician for an outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Gilroy, California.

Position Details

• Start date: October 5, 2026
• Assignment length: 13–26 weeks
• Schedule: Three to five days per week
• Shift options:
  • 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
  • 1:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
• No call required
• Practice setting: Brick-and-mortar outpatient clinic
• Providers may split time between clinic locations
• Patient population: All ages, including children and adults
• Average daily census: Approximately 18 patients; 21 or more preferred
• EMR: Epic
• Position available: One
• All-inclusive rate

The organization also operates school-based and mobile clinics. These settings may be discussed during the interview, so candidates should clearly identify which practice settings they are willing to cover. Physicians who are comfortable supervising midlevel providers are preferred.

Requirements

• MD
• Active California medical license in hand
• Active DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Two or more years of experience
• Board certification preferred; board eligibility accepted
• Candidates must be comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients
• No CSR required
• No licensing assistance available

Credentialing and Orientation

• Credentialing timeframe: 30 days or less
• Orientation is a full Monday–Friday week
• Providers must be available to attend the entire orientation week to be considered
